The chapel, Mudéjar with a Gothic-Renaissance doorway, holds one of the finest altarpieces on Gran Canaria.

Laid out in 1876, the park keeps several kiosks: the Modernist one designed by Rafael Massanet in 1923, now an open-air café, a bandstand used by the Municipal Band, and the former press kiosk, which serves as a tourist information point. There is also a large children's play area with a pirate ship and a space set aside for dogs.
