Makers supplying the Kactus shops include Turrones Elías, a nougat family working since 1880, Teror silversmith Alberto Lampón, who pairs silver with carved goat horn, and the Perdona Oíste clothing label from Maspalomas, which prints T-shirts with local turns of phrase. Solidarity almonds from Don José of Tejeda are also sold, with the proceeds going to disaster relief and charity causes.
