This category is short on purpose. A visitor directory has no business listing plumbers and accountants, so what is here is the small set of services people genuinely look for on holiday and struggle to find: somewhere to change money, and somewhere to wash clothes.
Gran Canaria uses the euro, so currency exchange matters mainly to visitors arriving with pounds, kronor or another currency, and the rate varies from one exchange office to the next. Laundry matters more than it sounds on a long stay or an island-hopping trip, especially in an apartment without a machine. Both cluster where the visitors are, in the commercial centres of the southern resorts from San Agustín to Meloneras, on the Mogán coast and around Las Canteras in Las Palmas.
